Isn't it strange, how just thinking about someone makes your heart beat vigorously !!

That Dhak dhak sound coming from inside you won't let you stay in peace.
How does this stupid heart know everything!

It was a usual lazy Friday morning! Like always, she reached the office with sleepy eyes and started her day by browsing through her emails.She had to complete the task assigned by her boss in 4 days and this was the second day.

Having planned her work, she started working on the laptop, consuming her morning cup of green tea. Suddenly her phone rang.Tring, Tring! Tring Tring!

It was Him! His name kept dancing on the screen unless she dared to pick up the call.

"Hey !", She said. "Hi! ", Came the reply. "Where r u? ", He asked. "Office! Obviously", she answered hiding her smile.

"I have a meeting in your office, so thought if we could meet today", he declared calmly! She waited for a second, let that thought sink in, said, "Sure! When will you be here ?"
"The only time it takes to reach your office from mine", he said proudly.

"Ok! See you then ", she answered and hung up.
She felt her pulse swinging at its full force. Rolling h her eyes from left to right, she looked at her colleagues, as if her heart beat was loud enough to be heard by them.

Irritated by her own anxiousness she tried to focus on her work, yet that thumping couldn't stop.
Dhak dhak !! Dhak dhak !!

She had a sip of water from the bottle, put on earphones to listen to some music yet nothing could distract her from the thought of meeting him after so long.
